Chestnut Hill

It is crazy how warm 30 degrees feels after you have been training in the teens and twenties. I have a new favorite loop that goes from the Unison Store (Raw Talent Ranch Annex) basically to Harpers Ferry, up Chestnut Hill and back through virginia to Unison. Small group today, Eli Hengst, Jeremy Edwards, Stephen Robinson (the new MABRA Masters BAR Champ) and myself. We cruised, our moving average speed just over 15 mph, but between the mild cold and almost 5500 feet of climbing I feel pretty beat up. If you are ever in this area you have to check out these roads, they are very scenic. Chestnut Hill is basically a mini Mt Weather.
