Wind and Mountains

I haven't been going to Hains Point that much in the last 2 months, but I guess no one has. I enjoy it more when there is a stff wind, and that is what we got today. A few of us, including Brian Butts and Chris Regan just kind of slipped of the front in the head wind and rotated prety steady for the next 5 laps. Ended up being one of the best workouts I have had in a while that did not include a mountain.

Speaking of Mountains, if anyone is up for it, I think I am going to do one of thoose loops out of Marshal on Tuesday at 10 am. Not sure where people park there yet.

  1. Hey Chuck. Depends on where you'd like to start but many people park at the Marshall VDOT. It's exit 28 off of Rt. 66. Make the right onto Rt. 17 toward Marshall. Then make the left at the light on Rt. 55 and I think it's the first right on to Frost St. Take it to the end where the VDOT parking lot is.

    Have fun!

  3. I'm heading up to camp at the barn tomorrow. Rest day monday, then some hills sounds good. Just don't crush me so much I want to quit the sport before the season gets going ;)
